Donald Hamilton has extensive experience in crisis response and case management within the mental health and substance abuse fields. As a Mobile Crisis Responder at Thresholds since February 2023, Donald provides immediate support and resources to individuals in crisis. Previously, Donald worked at The Boulevard as an Outreach-Housing Case Manager, where responsibilities included advocacy, referrals, and assessments related to health and mental health. Donald also held roles as a Residential Manager at St. Leonard’s Ministries, a Case-Aide at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, and a Mental Health Worker at Heartland Alliance, gaining a comprehensive skill set in client support, treatment planning, and counseling. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies from Northeastern Illinois University and an Associate of Applied Science in Addiction Studies/Criminal Justice from City Colleges of Chicago-Harold Washington College.
