Lauren Brown

Lauren Brown, MSW, LSW, QMHP, has an extensive background in social work and case management, with experience in various roles supporting youth and families. Lauren served as a Social-Emotional Learning Instructor at Gary Comer College Prep, where responsibilities included delivering SEL curriculum and providing crisis intervention for high school students. At Thresholds, Lauren managed a caseload as a DCFS Case Manager, focusing on individualized care plans and transition support for parenting youth. Prior experience includes working as a Care Management Navigator III at Rush University Medical Center, where Lauren developed care plans targeting Social Determinants of Health and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams. Currently, Lauren leads the REACH & Mother’s Youth Transitional Living Program at Thresholds, supervising case managers and providing both clinical and administrative leadership. Lauren is pursuing advanced studies at the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, with a GPA of 3.9.
