Warren More

Warren More has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years in the technology industry. Warren is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Thriday, where they are responsible for leading the technical direction and platform design. Warren collaborates with partners and service providers to ensure smooth integrations and information security compliance. Warren is also involved in building a fintech solution in Azure with Microsoft.

Prior to joining Thriday, Warren worked as a Solution Architect at illion, where they contributed to solution outline and business case development. Warren provided architecture advisory and governance, participated in vendor selection, and helped define the target state architecture for the company's software platform.

Before illion, Warren worked as a Solution Architect at Enterprisecloud, where they collaborated with customers and internal teams to create strategic roadmaps for solution design across various Microsoft technologies. Warren also dealt with commercial aspects and provided guidance for technical implementations.

Warren gained experience in transactional banking as a Technical Architect at African Bank, where they worked on the implementation of omni-channel services. Warren created architectural deliverables, collaborated with vendors, and guided development teams. Warren also advised on all aspects of the projects, including commercial and management aspects.

Prior to African Bank, Warren worked at Rand Merchant Bank as a Lead Developer and Technical Architect. Warren was responsible for setting .NET development standards and delivering various projects, including SharePoint solutions and BI portals.

Warren started their career at Furyx (Pty) Ltd as a Senior Developer, gaining experience in software craftsmanship, entrepreneurial behaviors, and consulting. Warren then worked at WesBank as a Senior Developer, providing support for legacy systems and later developing a replacement system for the Wholesale Direct finance platform.

Warren began their career at Dimension Data as a Web Developer.

Warren More obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Information Technology from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. Warren studied computer science, informatics, and psychology during this period from 1997 to 2000. In 2010, they pursued a Prince2 Practitioner Certification from APMG International. Additionally, in 2016, they attained the TOGAF 9.1 Certified Practitioner qualification from Real IRM.
