John Travers

John Travers has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. From 1996 to 1998, they served as the Director of the Educational Technology Group for the Government of Alberta. In 1998, they joined Nortel as the Sales Engineering Manager, where they designed and implemented sales engineering training for 500 Sales Engineers in North America. In 2010, they moved to Avaya as the Global SE Training Manager, where they were responsible for delivering the global new release technology training for all Avaya Sales Engineers and partner SEs. In 2019, they took on the role of Service Provider Account Manager, where they managed and implemented an Innovative Cloud Partnership between Avaya and TELUS. Currently, John serves as the Director of Partner Enablement at Thrio, Inc.

John Travers holds a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science - BS, honors in Chemistry and Thermodynamics from The University of Lethbridge.
