James Aubrey

James Aubrey has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. James is currently working at Thriva as a Finance Director, where they have held roles such as Head of Finance and Finance Manager since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Thriva Solutions as a Finance Director and Head of Finance from 2022 to 2023. Before joining Thriva, James worked at Quantico as a FinOps Manager, where they focused on building a startup finance function from 2020 to 2022. James also has experience at EY as an Executive - Valuations, Modelling, and Economics, where they provided valuation advice and worked with key clients such as Coca-Cola and private equity funds. Additionally, they have previous roles at Uber, Konnect Learning, VMG Global - Sydney, The Challenges Group, Edinburgh Tutors, and Splendid.co.uk in various capacities.

James Aubrey completed their education with a Master of Arts with Honours in Economics from The University of Edinburgh from 2011 to 2015. James also pursued further education at ICAEW from 2016 to 2019, earning an ACA degree. Prior to these, they attended Bootham School.
