Michelle Bauer

Michelle Bauer has extensive experience in the diabetes advocacy and event planning sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Account Manager at Thrivable since June 2018, Michelle focuses on gathering insights to improve the lives of individuals with diabetes. As the Founder of Jessepalooza, a rock festival honoring Jesse Alswager and aimed at raising funds for type 1 diabetes research, Michelle has been active since 2010. Previous roles include Sales Director at Diabetes Daily, Development Director at Riding On Insulin, and Columnist at dLife. Michelle has also held leadership positions at BRAVA Enterprises and Friends of JDRF, and has produced the documentary "Triabetes" that highlights athletes with type 1 diabetes. Michelle's leadership experience extends from being an Executive Director at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to various marketing and events roles across several organizations.
