Yuriy Z.

Yuriy Z. is currently working as the Head of Engineering at Thrivable since October 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at CHECK24 Vergleichsportal GmbH from 2019 to 2022 as a Principal Tech Lead, where they were responsible for rolling out new services to the market, conducting interviews and making hiring decisions, and working with various technologies like Java, TypeScript, Python, Big Data, ML, Microservices, devops, kubernetes, and clustering. From 2016 to 2018, Yuriy worked at KISTERS AG as a Senior Software Engineer and Big Data/Cloud Engineer. Yuriy also had a role at Weigandt Consulting from 2011 to 2016, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer on DevOps projects at various companies, including Tesco Pvt. Yuriy has experience in designing and implementing migration processes, setting up pipelines in Jenkins, and configuring infrastructure for efficiency. Prior to that, Yuriy worked at HealthEngage as a Senior Software Engineer from 2009 to 2011. Yuriy started their career in 2002 at Software Development, Inc. Ukraine as a Software Engineer, where they eventually led a team of developers and implemented Agile methodologies. Yuriy also had a role at BOSSdev from 2007 to 2009 as a Project Manager and Senior Software Engineer.

Yuriy Z. obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a field of study in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science in the year 2004. In the following year, 2005, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science with the same field of study. In terms of additional certifications, they achieved the Professional Scrum Master PSM I certification from Scrum.org in November 2015. Furthermore, they acquired the Certified Professional For Software Architecture certification from ISAQB - International Software Architecture Qualification Board in January 2018.
