Joel Cheney

Director of Global Partnerships at Thrive Agritech

Joel Cheney began their career in 2004 as an Organic Food Consultant at Town and Country Foods. In 2015, they became the Owner of Permashire Farms, a growing network of small, multi-site neighborhood gardens in and around Denver, CO. In 2016, they joined Thrive Agritech as the Director of Global Partnerships, and later took on the role of Director of Illumination, which involves helping growers transition to more sustainable technologies.

Joel Cheney attended the State University of New York College at Oswego from 1998 to 2002 and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design and Jazz Guitar.
