Matthew West is an experienced professional in information management and data modelling, currently serving as a Strategic Partner at Thrive Dynamic since March 2023. Matthew has held the position of Director at Information Junction since August 2008, specializing in consultancy for strategic information management decisions. In addition, Matthew is a Trustee at the Ontolog Forum and has been a UK Expert for ISO TC 184/SC4 since 1993, contributing to the development of multiple international standards related to process plants. Matthew previously led the UK Digital Twin programme at the Centre for Digital Built Britain and served as Principal Consultant at Information Logic Ltd. Matthew's long career includes significant roles at Shell, culminating in a managerial position focused on reference data architecture and standards. Academically, Matthew holds a PhD and BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds.
