Peter Weston

Peter Weston is a leader in clean energy innovation and investment, with 30 years of experience in enterprise development across global markets, including the UK, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. They currently run the international business of the Energy Systems Catapult, aiming to accelerate net-zero energy innovation. As a Non-Executive Director at Thrive Renewables, Peter has overseen significant growth in installed capacity and revenues since 2011. Previously, they held senior roles at GE Capital, Siemens Wind Power, and served as Managing Director of Energy 4 Impact, promoting access to energy in Sub-Saharan Africa. A graduate of the University of Warwick, Peter holds a BA(Hons) in Economics and Politics.
