Sofia Bohorquez

Sofia Bohorquez is a student at Brown University, concentrating in International and Public Affairs with a focus on Policy and Governance, as well as Latin American and Caribbean Studies. They are passionate about equitable public policy and education research, fluent in both English and Spanish. Sofia has held multiple roles, including as a Residential Counselor for Thrive Scholars and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Annenberg Institute, where they analyzed data on student experiences in Rhode Island public schools. Previously, they served as a Public Policy Fellow for School Board Member Luisa Santos in Miami-Dade County, where they developed policy briefs and conducted risk assessments on proposed legislation.
