Alex Matthews

Alex Matthews has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 1998 as an Engineer at BAE Systems, they later joined Accenture in 1999, where they worked as a Manager for nearly a decade. In 2008, they joined KPMG Advisory as an Executive Advisor before moving to PA Consulting in 2010, where they served as a Managing Consultant until 2018. During their time at PA Consulting, they contributed to various projects, including digital transformation for NHS Education for Scotland and delivering a national workforce management system for medical and dental trainees. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Anderson Anderson & Brown Consulting Limited as a Director. Most recently, since 2020, Alex has been the Managing Director of AM Consulting (Scotland) Ltd. Currently, they hold the role of Chief Technology Officer at Thrive Tribe, starting in May 2022.

Alex Matthews attended the University of Southampton from 1994 to 1998, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering MEng. Their field of study focused on Thermodynamics and Material Sciences.
