Richard Black has extensive work experience in the field of nutrition and scientific research. Richard is currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at WISEcode, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to their current role, Richard worked as a Principal at Quadrant D Consulting starting from March 2016. Richard was also an Adjunct Professor at The Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, starting from January 2017.

Richard Black has an education history that includes a high school diploma from Erindale Secondary School, which was obtained between 1972 and 1977. Between 1977 and 1989, they attended McMaster University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Psychology, and Psychology. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from McMaster University between 1983 and 1985. Later, they completed a PhD in Psychology at McMaster University as well.
