Dr. Peter Eckes is a seasoned Board Member and Advisor with extensive experience in the agricultural and chemical sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at SVG Ventures | THRIVE and as an advisory group member for Novo Holdings in Planetary Health, they previously held several key leadership roles at BASF, including President of R&D and Regulatory for BASF Agricultural Solutions and Senior Vice President of Crop Protection Research. Dr. Eckes is also the President of their self-named consulting firm and has recently taken on roles with Astanor Ventures as an Operational Partner and as Chairperson of the Board for Harpe Bio. They earned their degree in Bioorganic Chemistry from Harvard University.
