Cory Edgar DMSc

Cory Edgar DMSc, PA-C, is an experienced academic leader and educator currently serving as the Director of Education at ThriveAP, where they lead transition-to-practice programs for PAs and NPs. They hold an adjunct professor position at Butler University and have previously held various academic roles at AdventHealth University, including Academic Director and Associate Professor. With a clinical background in malignant hematology and blood and marrow transplantation, Cory has contributed significantly to the PA profession, including leadership roles with the Association of PAs in Oncology and the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy. Cory also serves as the Oncology Department Editor for the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Associates. They earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Doctorate of Medical Science in Medical Education from the University of Lynchburg.
