Melissa MacKinnon, DNP, FNP-BC, is an experienced Nurse Practitioner currently serving as a clinical faculty member and family medicine program speaker at ThriveAP since January 2019, where presentations focus on family practice topics through a virtual platform. In addition to this role, Melissa has been a Nurse Practitioner at ComplexCare Solutions since January 2021. Previous experience includes positions at ADVANCED ENT AND ALLERGY CENTER, The Little Clinic, and Geraghty Family Medicine PC, all as a Family Nurse Practitioner, along with an earlier role as a Registered Nurse at Premier Allergy & Asthma. Melissa holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. Education was completed at Boulder High School prior to higher learning institutions.
