VP Of Channel Sales at Thrive

Erik Young has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Erik began their career at National Grid as an Environmental Engineering Intern. Erik then joined Xand as the Director of Channel Sales, where they focused on maximizing application availability through solutions such as cloud, hosting, and disaster recovery. In 2015, Erik moved on to TierPoint and held multiple roles, including Strategic Account Executive and Vice President of Sales for the Northeast Region. At TierPoint, they provided data center infrastructure support and helped businesses streamline operations. Currently, Erik is the VP of Channel Sales at Thrive, a Managed Services Provider specializing in cloud strategy, hosting, security, compliance, and Office 365.

Erik Young completed a VMware Certification Course in 2015, earning a VSP and VSP-CP degree in VMware Sales Certification 5.5 & Cloud Provider 5.5. Erik also obtained a BS in Business Economics from the University of Rhode Island from 1998 to 2002. In addition, Erik has obtained the VSP & VCP-CP certification from VMware in 2015. Erik has also received various awards and recognition, including the 2015 Presidents Club, 2016 Presidents Club, 2019 CRN Channel Chiefs Award, and the 2019 Kaseya MSP Sales Person of the Year. Erik also completed an Azure Sales Specialist (Enterprise) program in 2016.
