Andrea Hansen

Andrea Hansen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Andrea is currently working at Thrivent as a Market Vice President, a position they assumed in September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Group Practice Director at Thrivent from January 2021 to September 2021.

Before joining Thrivent, Andrea held the position of Senior Vice President at think2perform starting from October 2015. Andrea also worked at MassMutual as a Brokerage Director from February 2018 to January 2021.

In addition, Andrea has experience as an Independent Franchise Consultant at Andrea Hansen Consulting Group, LLC from October 2014 to October 2015. Andrea also worked at Ameriprise Financial for a significant duration, starting as a Senior Region Vice President, RiverSource Distributors from October 2002 to September 2014.

Andrea began their career at American Express as a Region Sales Director for AEFA from September 1999 to December 2002. During their tenure, they supported a Region Vice President and played a leading role in territories across IL, WI, IN, MI, and OH. Andrea was responsible for conducting training for financial advisors and staff, as well as delivering webinars and teleconferences on protection strategies using life insurance and disability insurance products.

Andrea Hansen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including a BFA from Kaplan Professional, CLTC® (Certification for Long-Term Care) from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), CRPC® (Certified Retirement Planning Counselor) from the College for Financial Planning, Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC) from CLTC, a Life and Health License, Series 66 from Uniform Securities Agent State Law, and Series 7 from FINRA.
