Heidi Engel

Heidi Engel is an experienced IT leader currently serving as the Director of IT Effectiveness at Thrivent since March 2018, where responsibilities include partnering with senior technology leadership to enhance IT outcomes and focusing on Vendor Management, Change Management, and strategic communications. Prior to Thrivent, Heidi held various roles at Kimberly-Clark from November 2012 to February 2018, including Portfolio Planner for Resource Management and Methodology Consultant, where project management and governance processes were established and refined. Earlier experience includes managing finance and administration services at School Specialty and overseeing identity management and compliance. Heidi holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, completed between 1990 and 1994.
