Jake Thompson

Jake Thompson, RICP, CLTC, is an accomplished Retirement Income Planner at Thrivent Financial since May 2016, dedicated to ensuring members achieve financial dignity and independence in retirement. Previous experience includes serving as an offensive coordinator and football coach at Plainview-Elgin-Millville from August 2005 to November 2020, as well as roles at Mayo Clinic as a Technical Specialist and Supervisor from May 2006 to January 2016. Additionally, Jake Thompson has a strong background in education, having taught Health and Physical Education and coached at Lourdes High School from January 1996 to January 2005. Earlier coaching positions include serving as Athletic Director at Elgin-Millville Public Schools and various coaching roles at Plainview-Elgin-Millville. Jake Thompson holds a Master of Arts in Education and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Health and Physical Education/Fitness and Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Winona State University and the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, respectively.
