Liz Werner is currently the Creative Manager at Thrivent, where they lead various creative initiatives. Previously, they served as Verbal Lead and Marketing Specialist at the same organization. Liz has extensive experience in communications, having worked as a Senior Writer and Communications and Editorial Assistant at NEED Magazine, where they significantly increased readership and contributed to award-winning publications. They also held the position of Communications Coordinator at Greater Twin Cities United Way, playing a key role in a campaign that raised over $100 million and garnered 100,000 volunteer commitments in 2015. Liz holds a B.A. in Journalism with a focus on strategic communications and women's studies from the University of Minnesota and a Mini MBA for Nonprofit Organizations from the University of St. Thomas.
