Matt Hilliard, CFA, has extensive experience in municipal fixed income, currently serving at Thrivent since February 2018. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Vice President at Sit Investment Associates from October 2007 to February 2018, focusing as a buy-side analyst for mutual funds and private client accounts with a specialization in municipal bonds. Earlier in Matt's career, from July 2005 to October 2007, Matt was a Financial Analyst at Stonehill Group, where responsibilities included consulting and analyst work for an expert witness in economic forensics, as well as support for a business turnaround practice. Matt Hilliard earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota between 2005 and 2008 and holds a degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, completed in 2002.
