Michelle Chambers has extensive experience in underwriting technology and automation, currently serving as an Underwriting Tech Solutions Specialist at Thrivent since March 2021. Prior to this role, Michelle held the position of Underwriting Automation & Technology Manager at Allstate, where effective team management and collaboration with vendors facilitated the implementation of an automated underwriting system. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Automated Underwriting at AIG, overseeing an automated system for term life insurance risk assessment, and as a Senior Management Consultant at American General Life Companies, where project leadership and system implementation were key responsibilities. Michelle's career began at The Franklin Life Insurance Company, progressing from a Training Analyst to a Programmer, developing training programs and system enhancements. Education was completed at Springfield College in Illinois.
