Sid Basu

Sid Basu currently serves as Senior Architect for Continuity, Disaster Recovery & Resilience at Thrivent since July 2023. Prior to this role, Sid held various leadership positions at UKG as Director of Chaos Engineering and at Fidelity Investments, leading Quality & Chaos Engineering and Performance Engineering departments. Sid's expertise includes implementing chaos engineering practices to reduce production outages, managing QA automation chapters in DevOps environments, and driving performance testing for complex financial applications. Sid's career began as a QA Engineer at Open Environment Corporation and includes significant contributions to middleware quality, automated testing processes, and enterprise-wide performance architecture. Sid holds a BS in Computer Science from Rutgers University and is an alumnus of the International School of Choueifat in Abu Dhabi.
