Steve Barnier

Steve Barnier is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in mutual fund administration. Currently serving as the Manager of Financial Reporting & Expenses at Thrivent since October 2007, Steve leads a team responsible for ensuring accurate SEC filings and supports the effectiveness of the internal control environment. With a background as a Principal Accountant at Thrivent, Steve has been instrumental in implementing process improvements and preparing shareholder reports. Prior to Thrivent, Steve worked as a Mutual Fund Accountant at The Hartford, where significant contributions were made to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
