Daniel Garel

Daniel Garel, LMFT, currently serves as the Lead Clinician and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Thriveworks since February 2023. Garel has extensive experience in the mental health field, having worked as a REGIONS Clinician at Boys & Girls Village from September 2021 to February 2023, and as a Counselor and Family Therapist Intern at Recovery Network of Programs, Inc. from September 2016 to September 2021. In addition to clinical work, Garel co-owns and serves as the Head Instructor at Rose Hill Taekwondo since November 2018, reflecting a diverse skill set. Garel's earlier experience includes roles as a Recreational Counselor/Pool Manager at JCCA and an Apprentice at John Sozzi's Welding Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sacred Heart University.
