Emilee S. currently serves as a Marriage and Family Therapist at OhioGuidestone since August 2020, after previously holding the position of Marriage and Family Therapy Intern. Emilee's experience includes participating in the Opioid Workforce Expansion Program Interdisciplinary Training Initiative (OWEP-ITI) as Education Training from January to December 2020, and completing a Practicum Clinical Student Internship at The Clinic for Individual and Family Therapy from May to August 2020. Prior roles involve being a Pre-Practicum Student at The Clinic for Individual and Family Counseling and working as a Research Assistant at Ohio University in the Relationships and Physiology Laboratory. Emilee also contributed as a Camp BOOST Counselor at The Center for Intervention Research in Schools (CIRS) and engaged in anxiety disorder research as a Research Assistant. Emilee received a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Akron and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology along with a minor in Sociology from Ohio University, complemented by a study abroad program at Florence University of the Arts.
