Heather A. Smith

Heather A. Smith, M.Ed., LPC, LPCS, serves as a Child and Family Therapist at Thriveworks since May 2022 and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Licensed Professional Counselor since 2014. Prior experience includes Compliance Director at Generations Group Homes, Inc. from June 2010 to May 2022, overseeing program compliance and providing mental health services for juvenile males struggling with sexual aggression and mental illness. Heather's earlier roles included PRTF Therapist and QI Manager at Piedmont Center for Mental Health Services, where responsibilities encompassed individual and group therapy. Heather holds a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology, both from Clemson University.
