Laura Stone

Laura Stone, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience in various therapeutic settings since 2010. Currently employed at Thriveworks since April 2020, Laura provides telehealth individual therapy and conducts intakes and assessments with a focus on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). Previous roles include serving as a Clinical Supervisor at Health Care Resource Centers, where supervision and crisis intervention were prominent responsibilities, and as a Crisis Clinician at Clinical & Support Options, Inc., where psychiatric assessments for individuals in mental health emergencies were performed. Laura has also held management positions such as Program Director at Gandara Center and has worked in juvenile detention and outpatient settings, delivering therapeutic interventions and facilitating group therapy. Laura holds advanced degrees in Counseling Psychology and Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The College of Saint Rose.
