Kevin Young

Kevin Young has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Kevin began their career as a Student Internship at Applied Communications Sciences in 2013, where they developed a Height Above Average Terrain (HAAT) visualization application. Kevin then worked as a Student Research Assistant at Montclair State University, where they improved API handlers and contributed to the creation of a new API in an Android application.

Kevin then served as a Developer/Technology Assistant at MSU ADP Center for Teacher Preparation and Learning Technologies in 2014, followed by their role as Vice President & Project Lead at MSU CSIT Club, where they assembled electronic components for an infinity mirror project powered by Raspberry Pi micro-computer and Python.

In 2015, Kevin joined Axispoint as a Software Engineer and continued to hone their skills in software development until 2016. Kevin then worked at Blue Compass Software, LLC. as a Software Engineer for a brief period in 2017.

Kevin returned to Throtle, a company they had previously worked for, in 2017 and worked as a Software Engineer until 2019. In mid-2019, they transitioned to WorkWave as a Software Engineer, before returning to Throtle later in the year and continuing in the same role.

Throughout their various roles, Kevin has gained valuable experience in software engineering and demonstrated their ability to contribute to the development of projects and applications.

Kevin Young attended Middletown High School South from 2007 to 2011. Kevin then went on to Montclair State University and pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science, graduating in 2015.
