Ellen Rubinstein, Ph.D., is a medical anthropologist with over 15 years of experience in ethnographic and qualitative research. They have held various academic and research positions, including a Postdoctoral Fellow at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and an Associate Member of the Mixed Methods Program at the University of Michigan Medical School. Currently serving as a Senior Strategist at Throughline Strategy Inc. and an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at North Dakota State University, Ellen's research interests focus on healthcare systems, rural health, and mental health. They also contributed to course instruction as a Visiting Lecturer at multiple institutions, including Mount Holyoke College and the Center for Prison Education at Wesleyan University. Ellen is pursuing advanced degrees at Yale University, including an M.A. in East Asian Studies and a PhD.
