John Morelli has extensive experience in aviation, with a career spanning several decades in various roles. Currently serving as a Check Pilot Instructor at Thrust Flight since October 2022, Morelli conducts stage checks for a part 141 flight school. Additionally, Morelli has been a Maintenance Control Technician with American Airlines since January 1990. As a freelance Certified Flight Instructor since July 1979, Morelli has taught Private, Instrument, Commercial, ATP, and Multi Engine students under part 61. Previous positions include Assistant Chief/CFI at Moore Aviation Inc., First Officer and Flight Engineer with Sunworld Int'l Airlines, and corporate pilot roles on various aircraft. Morelli holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an A&P License, obtained after graduating from Aviation High School.
