Simon Cato is a Design Engineer at Thule Group since December 2020, focusing on the development of rear-mounted bicycle carriers, utilizing PLM systems, SolidWorks, and working with suppliers for production preparations. Previously, Simon held the position of Junior Design Engineer at Thule Group, overseeing quality assurance and product development for existing and new products in the same segment. Simon also completed a Master Thesis in concept development at Thule Group, and has gained practical experience as a Concept Developer intern and a summer intern. Additional work includes leadership in a social project for agricultural employment, and retail roles as a salesman in sports-focused stores. Simon holds a Master of Science in Technical Design and Product Development from Linköping University and a foundational education in Natural Science Chemistry from Erik Dahlbergsgymnasiet.
