Industrial Designer II at Thuma

Ellen Posch has worked in various roles and companies, starting with an internship at Little Jacket in 2015 as a Graphic Design Intern. In 2017, they interned at Fossil Group, Inc. on the Women's Watches team, where they developed tech packs, colorways, and artwork. Later that year, they worked as an Industrial Design Intern at Pensar Development, where they developed concepts for consumer electronics and medical projects.

In 2018, Ellen became an Industrial Designer at Herbst Produkt llc, working as part of a small design team and producing concepts for clients such as Logitech, Norton, and Clorox. Ellen used SolidWorks, rendering software, hand sketching, and prototypes in their work.

From 2019 to 2022, they held internships and design positions at level design SF and NewDealDesign. At level design SF, they contributed to design teams producing concepts for clients including Google and major startups. At NewDealDesign, they worked on an industrial design team, participating in all phases of the design process for consumer technology and mobility spaces.

Since 2023, Ellen has been working at Thuma as an Industrial Designer II.

Ellen Posch's education history includes a Bachelor of Industrial Design degree from the University of Cincinnati, which they pursued from 2015 to 2020. During their undergraduate studies, they specialized in Industrial and Product Design. In 2018 to 2019, Ellen also attended the Bergische Universität Wuppertal, though the degree obtained from this institution is not specified. Prior to their university education, they attended Cleveland Heights High School from 2010 to 2014 and earned a High School Diploma. Additionally, Ellen briefly studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2014 to 2015, focusing on Industrial and Product Design.
