Alysia Young

Alysia Young has extensive work experience in various roles related to employee experience, corporate real estate, workplace experience, internal communications, training and consulting, and public relations. Alysia is currently working as the Senior Director and Head of Employee Experience at Thumbtack, where they are involved in implementing a virtual-first model. Prior to this, they worked at Verint, where they served as the Head of Corporate Real Estate and Workplace Experience, Director of Internal Communications and Employee Engagement, and Senior Manager of Corporate Learning and Development. Alysia also has experience as a Managing Director of Training and Consulting at MarketSpire LLC, Director of Communications, Outreach, and Training at PEMCO Limited, Public Relations Specialist at Krakoff Communications, Inc., and various roles at Indiana University of Pennsylvania including Campus Tour Guide, Media Relations Coordinator, and Prospective-Student Relations Team Lead.

Alysia Young attended the Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2005. Alysia obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major in Journalism and Public Relations. Alysia also pursued a minor in Communications Media during their time there. In 2002, Alysia participated in a Study Abroad program at Universidad Nacional, where they focused on Spanish Language and Literature. In terms of additional certifications, they completed a course on "Design Thinking: Implementing the Process" offered by LinkedIn in May 2021. Alysia also obtained certification in "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn in the same month and year.
