Nirav Modi

Nirav Modi is a Senior Software Engineer at Thumbtack since June 2021, responsible for driving product enhancements from design to development and breaking down high-level project initiatives into manageable tasks. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer in Search and Recommendation at PlayStation, where Nirav designed backend services for the PlayStation 5 launch, and developed search solutions for internal clients. Nirav also contributed to GIS application development as a GIS Application Developer at Michael Baker International, developed Middleware APIs for PayPal's financial solutions, and created web applications during an earlier tenure at Karnavati Electric Company. Educational qualifications consist of a Master's Degree in Computer Science from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Gujarat Technological University.
