Rob Wood is a seasoned software testing and quality assurance professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple prestigious companies. Starting as a QA Analyst at Spicer Corporation from 1995 to 1998, Rob transitioned to BlackBerry, where expertise in testing the BlackBerry QNX Operating System and the BlackBerry Operating System was honed between 2010 and 2012. Following this, Rob served as a Senior Automation and Tools Engineer at Mozilla from July 2012 to January 2020, focusing on automated test frameworks and tools. Rob also contributed to Art Technology Group as a Senior Software Quality Engineer and worked at Xero as a Senior Software Engineer in Test, where responsibilities included the design and development of automated test frameworks and back-end REST API services. Currently, Rob is involved with the Thunderbird Project as a Senior Software Engineer in Test. Rob holds a degree in Computer Programmer Analyst from Georgian College.
