Skip Jensen

Skip Jensen has over 30 years of experience in systems engineering and management roles. Skip is currently working as a Senior System Engineer at Thunderbolt Solutions, where they lead system engineering and integration processes for the PSS-T Program. Prior to this, Skip worked at ASRC Federal as a System Engineering Manager, responsible for driving MBSE processes and implementing system engineering capabilities for current and future programs. Skip also served as a Lead System Engineer and Scrum Master for IRAD efforts. Skip's experience also includes roles at Parsons Corporation, where they worked as a Lead System Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer, implementing MBSE methodologies and leading product development. Skip has also worked at Lockheed Martin, Mission Systems and Training in various senior-level positions, including Senior Staff Systems Engineer, Principal Systems Engineer, and Senior Systems Architect. At Communication Technologies, Skip worked as a Systems Engineer, responsible for waivers and requirements management. Skip began their career at PRC, Inc. as a Systems Engineer. Throughout their career, Skip has demonstrated expertise in system analysis, integration, and development of new methodologies.

Skip Jensen graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mathematics from Virginia Tech in 1992. In 1997 to 1998, they attended Drexel University, where they pursued Software Engineering without obtaining a degree. Additionally, Skip has obtained several certifications, including Scrum Master from the International Scrum Institute™ in November 2017, and Certified SAFe® 6 Agile Product Manager, Certified SAFe® 6 Practice Consultant, and Certified SAFe® 6 Release Train Engineer from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2023.
