James R.

James R. began their work experience in 1988 at Langley AFB, where they worked as the Enterprise Network Manager for the INOSC East. James led a team of 19 military, civilian, and contractor personnel, providing support for Directory Services across classified and unclassified networks for 17 Active Directory domains, 16 bases, and 112K users. In 2008, they joined NetApp as a Systems Engineer, specializing in primary and secondary storage solutions, disaster recovery, data archiving, virtualization, cloud services, and application integration. James performed evaluation installations, provided design guidance, and conducted hands-on development for customer proof of concepts. Most recently, in 2012, James R. joined ThunderCat Technology as a Systems Engineer, focusing on data center solutions such as data storage, networking, WAN optimization, security, DR/COOP, cloud computing, data center automation, and virtualization. ThunderCat Technology was recognized as one of Forbes America's Most Promising Companies and ranked #178 on the VAR 500.
