Lauren Spare

Lauren Spare is a mechanical engineer with a diverse professional background spanning various roles in software development, underwriting, and design engineering. Currently serving as a Software Developer at Thunderhead Engineering since April 2015, Lauren has previously worked as an Underwriter at Farmers Mutual Insurance Company and as a Design Engineer at KBK Industries. Early career experiences include an internship at Thunderhead Engineering focused on algorithm development and a role at Chesapeake to gain knowledge of wellhead mechanics. Lauren's educational foundation includes a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University, complemented by leadership training through the Forge program.
