Greg Vincent

Greg Vincent is a seasoned professional in the mining and geology sector, currently serving as the Technical Services Manager at Thungela since March 2020. In this role, Greg effectively manages and coordinates various technical services, ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards while fostering collaboration with production teams. Prior experience includes positions as Planning Manager and Business Improvement Specialist at Anglo American South Africa, as well as Underground Production Geologist and Exploration Geologist at Anglo American, where responsibilities encompassed managing exploration programs and drill-rig operations. Greg received a BSc Honours in Geology and a BSc in Life & Environmental Science from the University of Johannesburg, and began their career through various vacation student roles at Anglo Coal, focusing on fieldwork and data management.
