Mark Myatt

Mark Myatt is an experienced finance professional with a distinguished career spanning several decades. Currently serving as the Strategic Planning & Business Development Manager at Thungela since May 2022, Mark previously held the position of Commercial Manager at Butsanani Energy from September 2014 to June 2022. Prior to that, Mark had a long tenure at Anglo American, where roles included Management Reporting Manager, Divisional Financial Manager, and Financial Systems Manager, among others, focusing on management reporting, data systems, and financial analysis within the Thermal Coal sector. Early in Mark's career, a foundational role as a Taxation Officer at the South African Revenue Service involved auditing and investigating a wide range of taxpayers. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand.
