Ryan Webb

Ryan Webb is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial and legal counsel across various sectors. Currently serving as Group Legal and Commercial Counsel at Thungela since January 2022, Ryan provides legal and commercial advice within the Supply Chain, Marketing, and Business Development Departments. Prior to this role, Ryan held senior legal positions at AngloGold Ashanti, managing corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and various other departments. Ryan's earlier career includes significant roles at MTN, focusing on commercial legal matters for the Consumer Sales and Distribution Business, and legal practice at White & Case LLP and Bowman Gilfillan, specializing in transactional law. Ryan holds both a Master of Laws and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Witwatersrand, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from GIBS Business School.
