Bill Gerbig

Bill Gerbig is an experienced Safety Advisor with a strong background in mining safety and compliance. Since October 2018, Bill has been with Thyssen Mining, following a tenure at AMC Mining from October 2016 to October 2018. Prior to that, Bill served as a Safety Officer at Procon Group of Companies from January 2013 to March 2016, focusing on inspections, auditing, and training, as well as ensuring legislative compliance and promoting worker involvement in safety programs. Bill’s expertise includes roles as a Safety Officer at Beaver Brook Antimony Mine Inc., where responsibilities included conducting inspections, air sampling, and performing health testing. Bill is also a founding member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Mining Safety Council and holds an OHS diploma from Keyin College, complemented by education from Bluevale Collegiate.
