John Turmelle

John Turmelle is an experienced professional in the mining industry, currently serving as the Project Superintendent for the Coastal Gas Link -8 West Project at Thyssen Mining since February 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Development Superintendent and Shotcrete Coordinator at DMC Mining Services, and Underground General Foreman. John has also held supervisory positions at Dumas Contracting Ltd and CanMine Contracting LP, as well as serving as a Development Supervisor and Shotcrete Trainer at Redpath Group. Further experience includes operational and training roles in underground blasting and mining with EBC Inc., JTR, and Pan American Silver Corp., demonstrating a strong background in underground mining and project management.
