Richard Simonson is a seasoned electrical professional with extensive experience in the mining industry. Currently serving as Chief Electrician at Thyssen Mining since September 2018, Richard oversees electrical operations and maintenance. In addition, Richard has been a Lead Electrician at AMC since June 2016, focusing on maintenance during shaft sinking. Prior roles include Underground General Foreman at Tron Construction and Mining LP from October 2014 to October 2015, where responsibilities included overseeing the construction and commissioning of the McArthur River's electrical system upgrade, and Electrician at Tron Construction and Mining LP from November 2009 to June 2014, involved in underground construction and maintenance during remediation efforts and installations.
