Wesley Cruea

Wesley Cruea has extensive experience in safety management within the mining industry, currently serving as the US Manager of Safety and Operations Superintendent at Thyssen Mining since March 2013. Prior to this role, Wesley was the Safety and Health Manager at Nyrstar, overseeing health and safety for six underground zinc mining operations in Tennessee from October 2010 to February 2013. Wesley's experience also includes serving as Safety Manager at ASARCO and Assistant State Mine Inspector at the Arizona State Mine Inspector’s office. In addition, Wesley held the position of Underground Development Supervisor at BHP from January 1991 to June 1999. Wesley holds an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from Central Arizona College and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental from the University of Phoenix.
