John Diaz

John Diaz is an experienced professional in information security, currently serving as the Head of Information Security at thyssenkrupp since March 2013. In this role, John leads and manages the organizational Information Security program, collaborating closely with the CEO and CFO to implement security initiatives and governance. Prior to thyssenkrupp, John owned Diaz Networking Consultants Group, providing information security consulting for small to medium-sized businesses. John's extensive experience includes a tenure at IBM, where responsibilities included managing security compliance for new accounts, and a position at ING Nederland, where John contributed to insourcing the corporate Data Center and refreshing server environments. John holds education credentials from the New England Conservatory of Music and the College of Charleston.
