Anders Persson

Anders Persson, CFA, is the Chief Investment Officer of Global Fixed Income at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since 2021. Previously, they held various senior roles in fixed income and equity research, including Vice President of High Yield Research at First Union Securities and Director of Fixed Income Research at SG Cowen. Anders also served as a Portfolio Manager for leveraged loans at TIAA-CREF and was instrumental in establishing high yield research at multiple firms. They earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Economics from Lander University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Winthrop University.
