James Ray is an experienced professional with a robust background in regulatory program management and fraud investigations. Since November 2006, James has served as a Manager in Regulatory Program Management at TIAA, overseeing the 529 plan program management for multiple college savings plans with over $30 billion in assets. James also contributed as a Team Manager, providing leadership and coaching within a 12-person call center team. Prior to TIAA, James held the position of Fraud Investigations Manager at Sears Holdings Corp., where leadership resulted in top national metrics for risk and fraud identification. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Kenyon College and has completed partial studies towards a Juris Doctor at Arizona State University College of Law.
